中国国际化教育进⼊⾼速的时代,有国际教育经验的教师是中国国际化教育发展的基础,他们掌管着未来国际教育前进的⽅向,在教学中往往起着主导作⽤,如何迎接知识经济和素质教育提出的挑战?以及如何适应教学⻆⾊中的转型和探索过程,⽽重新被社会⼤众所重视和认可,这是整个⾏业关注和聚焦的热点。
据顶思2018国际学校图谱显示,截⾄2020年9⽉,中国使⽤国际课程的学校数量已经超过1500家,国际学校从业教师⼈数超过8万。近年来,中国国际学校的迅猛发展对优质教师资源,尤其是双语教师的⼈才更是求贤若渴。如今,教师已经逐渐取代教育政策和资本市场等因素,成为了整个⾏业发展最⼤的焦点与瓶颈。由于不少中国国际学校对教师不够重视,在培养教师的措施和机制方面存在⽋缺之处,加之社会⼜普遍缺乏优质的师资培训资源等诸多问题,因此⼤⼤制约了国际化学校的发展与教学水平的提升。
In a fast-paced era of internationalization of education in China, teachers are esteemed as the cornerstones of international education development in China. Playing a dominant role in the teaching, they are in charge of the future direction of the international education. How would they confront with the challenges of knowledge economy and quality education? How would they gradually adapt themselves to the transformation process of teaching role so as to be taken seriously again and treated with respect by the public? These have become the new highlights in the industry.
According to the latest findings of ‘China International School Map 2020’ published by Top Schools, there are up to 1500 international schools throughout the country by the end of September, 2020. For the time being, the number of teachers who work in the international schools is over 80,000. However, high-quality educator’s resources are still in high demand short supply, from the perspective of an increasing number of international schools in China.
