One recent intern had their card design stocked by WHSmith and another participated in negotiations with securing the contract with The National Gallery.

Opportunity to:

· Gain hands on work experience in a private company operating in the competitive gift and art retail business

· gain an insight into pitching to buyers of major retailers and tailoring products to their target market

· develop skills for working in a competitive business environment including time management, team working, negotiation, email communication, carrying out research

· gain transferable business skills including working with Trello project management software and other business packages.

· participate in business meetings with the Managing Director with an opportunity to prepare for and attend major art fairs

· activate business specific English language skills – written, spoken, listening and comprehension

· work with people from a range of disciplines and backgrounds including graphic designers, retail buyers and private art buyers.
